Join Deana Brown-Mitchell and Christopher di Armani, the visionary mentors behind Wolf Pack Mentors and the Lead Like a Wolf: The Ascent Retreat, for a powerful conversation on reclaiming your time, creativity, and purpose.
You didn’t come this far to burn out—you came to live.
In this powerful conversation, Deana Brown-Mitchell and Christopher di Armani share the raw, real stories behind Wolf Pack Mentors and the Lead Like a Wolf – The Ascent Retreat.
From surviving burnout and business loss to publishing 50+ books, they reveal how entrepreneurs can reclaim time, creativity, and purpose without doing it all alone.
What’s the point of building your dream business if you’re too exhausted to enjoy it?
In this honest conversation, Dina Brown-Mitchell and Christopher di Armani of Wolf Pack Mentors unpack why so many entrepreneurs are “winning” on paper but quietly losing in life.
They share real-world strategies for creating a business that supports the life you want, instead of consuming it.

Sure, we solve serious problems inside the Wolf Pack, but we also have a lot of fun along the way.
This morning during our first Q & A Conversation session, Deana, J.D. Leisky and I got into a discussion about business, AI tools, how we use them, and what our ideal life would look like.
Not big picture stuff, just some of the little things.
at one point, J.D. commented, "I don't want to talk to people. I just want to code."
The thought that popped out of my mouth was, "Hermit the Coding Crab".
We all had a good laugh at that, and then I asked ChatGPT to build a image of JD in that role. Very fun, and all done live on a call.
And it gave J.D. a new tagline, too!
“I Only Come Out When the Code Compiles.”

The prompt I used to create that image, in case you want to adjust it for your own cartoon creation.
Create a highly detailed, humorous, professional-quality 3D cartoon caricature of the man in the attached reference photograph, transforming him into an original character called "HERMIT THE CODING CRAB."
Preserve the recognizable facial characteristics of JD from the reference image:
His large, rounded, friendly face.
His distinctive thick, bushy, salt-and-pepper beard, predominantly gray and white.
His black baseball cap featuring the recognizable white "W" and white piping along the brim.
His slightly mischievous, contented expression, suggesting a man who has spent countless hours solving programming problems.
His stocky, solid build and relaxed demeanor.
Exaggerate these features in an affectionate, comedic caricature style without losing his identity.
Transform JD into an adorable, slightly grumpy but lovable anthropomorphic hermit crab.
His human face and magnificent gray beard emerge naturally from a vibrant reddish-orange crab body. His black baseball cap sits proudly on his head.
Give him prominent crab claws, multiple articulated crab legs, and a comically oversized spiral shell on his back.
The shell is his portable programming headquarters.
Instead of an ordinary seashell, create an elaborate spiral shell that merges natural shell textures with computer circuitry, cooling fans, glowing LEDs, tiny screens, and mechanical components.
The shell should remain instantly recognizable as a hermit crab's shell, despite its technological modifications.
JD is sitting at a miniature programming workstation on a rocky beach.
His primary claws hover over a mechanical keyboard, while smaller crab appendages operate the keyboard and mouse.
Three computer monitors display colorful programming syntax, terminal windows, debugging information, and glowing lines of code.
One screen displays:
BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Another shows a complicated program filled with colorful code.
Nearby, include a half-empty coffee mug labeled "DEBUG FUEL," a few empty coffee cups, and a little pile of discarded computer components.
A small sign beside his workstation reads:
"DO NOT DISTURB — CODING"
His expression conveys the satisfaction of a programmer who has just fixed a bug after hours of troubleshooting.
Premium 3D animated-character aesthetic with expressive features, sophisticated cartoon proportions, and cinematic lighting.
Rich orange-red crab shell contrasting with JD's magnificent silver-gray beard.
His signature black-and-white baseball cap remains immediately recognizable.
Vibrant blue, purple, and cyan monitor lighting, subtly inspired by the blue lighting in his reference photograph.
Exceptionally detailed shell textures, claws, facial hair, and mechanical components.
Playful, intelligent humor rather than childish slapstick.
The character should look like the beloved mascot of a software development company.
Create a square composition suitable for social media, stickers, avatars, and eventual merchandise.
Place JD prominently in the center, with his elaborate technological hermit shell clearly visible.
At the top, include the title in bold, playful, beautifully rendered lettering:
HERMIT THE CODING CRAB
Make the title clear, readable, and visually integrated into the illustration.
Keep the character visually dominant. Include sufficient space around the composition for future cropping.
JD must remain recognizable from the provided photograph.
Preserve his distinctive beard and baseball cap.
The character must clearly be a hermit crab, not a lobster or ordinary crab.
The spiral shell must be prominent.
Keep the anatomy coherent, with believable claw and leg placement.
Maintain a humorous, warm, and endearing personality.
Avoid grotesque human-animal hybrid features.
Avoid generic cartoon faces.
Avoid unnecessary text or illegible lettering.
Overall creative direction: Imagine a brilliant, reclusive computer programmer who has literally become a hermit crab, carrying his complete coding environment everywhere he goes, perfectly content to remain inside his shell as long as the code compiles.
