Before your next HighLevel email campaign, check imported addresses, pre-send risks, and the mobile customer journey with a small safe test.

Before Your Next Email Campaign, Check the List and the Message

October 28, 2026•10 min read

You can write a strong offer and still lose the opportunity before a customer reads it. A bad address, a risky sender setup, or an email that's awkward to use on a phone can all get in the way.

Three new email tools from HighLevel are worth a look if your business sends email campaigns through HighLevel or Wolf Pack Mentors CRM.

Each tool does a different job. No tool replaces a clear offer, a permission-based email list, or a real-world test.

Start with the people you email

HighLevel now offers email-address verification when you import contact lists. You turn it on at the final step to watch progress in Bulk Actions, and use the Email Verification Status filter to separate valid from invalid addresses. That's a practical checkpoint before a new email list becomes a new campaign audience. Read HighLevel’s contact-import release.

This only applies when you import new contacts. Email addresses already in your CRM are not affected. And an email address marked valid still doesn't mean that person agreed to receive marketing messages.

Keep consent and list relevance as separate system checks.

Choose one small, permission-based list import and examine how invalid results are handled. Test the process before you do a major email list import.

Check the campaign before it leaves

HighLevel’s new Pre-Send Spam Check runs from the email-campaign send screen. It looks at content, sender setup, and trust and reputation signals, then gives high- and medium-risk recommendations. If the result aren't want you want, edit the campaign and check again.

The check does not send the email, nor do its findings block sending. Read the Pre-Send Spam Check release.

That makes it a useful review step, not a promise of delivery.

HighLevel itself says a clean result can't guarantee it arrives in their inbox; email service providers also weigh engagement and list quality.

If the check flags your sending domain or an exaggerated subject line, fix the issue before you hit "Send." Don't ignore a warning just because the send button still works.

Run this on one planned campaign, record any high-risk findings, make appropriate changes, and send a small test to people who expect to hear from you. And always double-check the message and any links it contains in the actual inbox before sending to your full list.

Read it on the Phone Your Customer Uses

HighLevel also added mobile-specific styling controls for supported email sections and elements. Think Website Page Builder controls for desktop and mobile added to the Email Builder. It's a long-needed upgrade to that system, but it's not a one-click mobile fix. Read the Mobile View Controls release.

For you the decision is simple: can a customer understand your message and take the next step on a small screen?

Inspect the subject, opening lines, button, and booking or purchase links on a real phone. If the customer has to pinch, hunt, or guess, make a change and test again. If your design already works, then leave it alone. 😁

One clear job: check the list, run the pre-send review, and review the mobile customer journey.
